The Happiness Warrior

Eric has a genetic disposition to set things right and believes that regardless of what’s going on in your day to day life, he can help you find ways to improve your life. Eric has a simple question – can you give yourself permission to be happy? After years of entrepreneurial success creating two thriving Washington, DC based businesses dedicated to life changing therapies, he’s found a new purpose and passion by leading people to the next level in their emotional and spiritual lives as “The Happiness Warrior.”

Eric’s vision of personal transformation and resilience is inspiring. His theory of a seven-year cycle suggests that we encounter significant shifts that can propel us forward. As he expands and builds upon his work, he’s focusing on creating tools and strategies to help people harness these periods of upheaval for growth and happiness. Eric’s approach can involve workshops, coaching sessions, or various other resources that align with these cycles of change. By guiding others through these transitions, he aims to turn challenges into opportunities, ultimately fostering a positive impact in an often negative world.

Eric’s approach to personal growth and happiness reflects a deeply compassionate and practical philosophy. He blends a sense of spiritual awareness with actionable steps to help people navigate their own life changes. His concept of being “The Happiness Warrior” highlights his commitment to empowering others and fostering positive transformation.

Eric’s focus on forgiveness, self-affirmation, and daily rituals underscores a commitment to creating a positive mindset. The idea of starting and ending the day with affirmations is a simple yet powerful technique for maintaining a constructive outlook. His three-step morning plan—affirmation, hydration, activation—demonstrates a holistic approach to personal well-being that integrates both mental and physical health.

Eric’s advice for overcoming anger and depression by finding and focusing on sources of joy and practicing gratitude is practical and grounded. By encouraging people to connect with the things that bring them happiness, he offers a way to build resilience against the negativity in the world. His emphasis on expressing gratitude and seeking out personal joys provides a tangible method for improving mental health and overall life satisfaction.

His dedication to making a positive impact through simplicity and authenticity is likely to resonate with many people seeking clarity and purpose in a complex world. Eric prides himself on being a highly driven and motivated person who has always felt there are people out there who need a voice, someone that’s on their side. Further, he believes that the happiest people are those that help others and that things don’t need to be complicated to have the most impact. To Eric, life is very spiritual and energy is everything. By becoming The Happiness Warrior, he is creating expansion in his life by adding value to the lives of others.

Often called a “a machine” by his husband and blessed throughout his life with magical trips and serendipitous, soul-stirring encounters, Eric made an amazing friend in renowned personal transformational coach Giselle Koi when he attended the Precision Performance Summit in Austin in March 2020. Giselle’s invitation to Eric to visit her in her new home of Sedona, Arizona in August proved life-changing – even beyond the cementing of their friendship and her helping him focus on his personal goals.

“I felt like I needed this trip, and I was there as part of a journey to find out what I am and should be doing with my life,” Eric says. “One morning we hiked up a mesa and met up with a prayer circle. I was able to join in and put my hands and feet onto the rocks. I looked above me as if to seek guidance from the universe. Then I felt something shift, as if the mountain itself were speaking to me and all the knowledge I could ever need was right there to tap into. I had been waiting for this epiphany for a long time. I came away from that experience changed and liberated, declaring ‘I am The Happiness Warrior.’ I knew it was time to rebrand my life with that aesthetic. There are so many things I can do to make a difference in this world, and I’m excited to tap into people’s hunger for happiness.”
